Even though things were not going well in our life. But at least we had each other. Our parents taught us how to be grateful for everything in life. Despite not having good clothes, good food or even good shelter but at least we had roof on top of our head and food on top of our table. Unlike other people who don’t have nothing at all.

My Two brothers 2 years after had to drop out from school, because my parents couldn’t afford to pay their school fees any more. So they dropped out for me and my younger one’s to continue with our studies. It was a difficult decision but my parents had no choice.

Few months later my elder brother joined my father, to work with him on the factory he was working for doing steel. The money they use to earn was not enough to sustain us the whole month. They were able to save up some money and open a small shop for my other brother to take care of it as a family business.

It was difficult to get customers to come and buy. Because lots of our neighbours did not want to support us. But that did not stop my brother working hard on the spaza shop, each and every day when we come from school we use to help him out. He used to open the shop early in the morning and close very late at night. But every time me and my younger sister come from school we use to stay with him in the shop and help him as much as we can before my elder brother could come from work and stay with  him all through the night.

Few months later people from other blocks started to recognise that our small shop use to close late at night making it convenient for them to come and buy when other shops were closed. Especially people who use to come home late from work. A year after we had lots of customers dropping by.

Me and my younger ones continued with our school and life became much better. My father was able to buy us a Television and fridge from the money they were making from the spaza shop we had at home. But most important he bought our school uniform first. People around our neighbourhood started to be even more jealous of our knew found life. They only liked to see us suffering. Things started happening and more bad things started happening also.

To be continued ……

THE WORD OF GOD SAYS👇👇👇

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Psalm 143:8-9

8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. 9 Rescue me from my enemies, LORD, for I hide myself in.
My parents taught us that no matter what we must seek help from the Lord.

THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY, HAVE A LOVELY BLESSED DAY.
