Journey of my life chapter 8

One morning my mother sent my brother to go and buy a stove. Because our electric stove was damaged. My mother stayed for so many ours waiting for my brother to come back and he was no where to be found.

We had to go and look for him because it was already getting dark outside. Because he has been gone for a long time. We searched every where and we had no luck. We decided to go back home and wait for him there. Many hours has already past and no sign of him and we could not report to the police because we can only report when someone is missing for a day or two.

We had no choice but to pray to God to bring him back safe to us. 3am he knocked at the door, very terrified and crying. He was looking like someone who just saw a ghost. He was so scared and we tried to ask him what happened but he only wanted to step his feet to church before he could say anything. My parents called a family friend to take them to church on that early morning.

When they got there he kneeled down at the altar and cried his heart out to God, thanking him for helping him out of the hands of evil people who kidnapped him. When the pastor arrived to see him, he told the pastor what happened to him and how God saved him.

He was kidnapped and about to be killed for body parts, until God intervened. He said he was locked in the room for so many hour’s and they told him that when night fall comes he will die. Inside the room he was, he saw people’s body parts inside bottles. Then he knew that those people who kidnapped him they will definitely kill him. He said after so many hours of crying he kneeled down and asked God to come to his rescue.

He said after many hours of praying he had a voice saying to him stand up and run through that door and don’t look back until you get home. He said he was shocked and he tried to tell the voice that the door is locked but the voice still insisted that he must run through the door and suddenly the big light came inside the room and voice said am your God and I had your prayers go now.

He said the only thing he remembers is him standing up to do what the voice instructed him. The next thing he saw it was him outside the room and he ran for his life until he reached home. He didn’t understand how he got through the locked door. But he knew that God made it possible. Because with God there is nothing impossible in his eyes. The pastor told him that he was a chosen one and in future he shall do miracles and wonders. The pastor made him understand the ways of GOD.

Romans 10:9-10 NIV

9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved

Galatians 1:4

who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

Isaiah 41:10

‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

My Parents could not even ulter a word, because they where still in shock of what my brother just narrated to the Pastor. As we thought that our problems are gone that day marked the beginning of our problems once again.
